Ceremony
Opening
All of us gathered here today, family and friends of this wonderful couple, have come to celebrate a most joyous occasion. We are fortunate to have been asked to witness the most important transition in a relationship between two people. This is the transition in which 2 people commit themselves to each other, in word and action.
They take this step not because they need to, but because they want to. They desire to publicly pledge their love for each other. Many here have watched as your love for each other has grown and matured from the first date to the perfection that you manifest today. This is a special day Cheyenne and Randall, we hope that all your days together are blessed ones.
Words on marriage
A special quote by fawn weaver “A great spouse loves you exactly as you are. An extraordinary spouse helps you grow, inspires you to be, do and give your very best”
Sand Ceremony
(Sand ceremony intro)
Cheyenne, Randall, Elijah, Lucetta, Isaiah and messiah, today you are all making a commitment to share your lives together. Your family is symbolized by the pouring of these 6 containers of sand. Each represents you and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be.
Each one holds its own unique beauty, strength, and character. They can stand alone and be whole, without requiring anything else. But when all are blended together they represent an entirely new and extraordinary love. As you now combine your sand together, your lives also join together as one family. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated, neither will the family you have today.
