"I was really excited to perform this wedding, Bryan is my cousin, which they had asked me promptly to marry them once they set the date. It was a beautiful day and it was very simple, elegant, and very personable. I was blessed with the opportunity. I am so thankful for the experience."

Welcome and thank you, family, and friends, for being here today, to witness this public celebration of two beautiful people‘s love for each other.
I asked the couple what they wanted me to include in this ceremony, and they told me to keep things light and funny, but most importantly, to keep it short, like myself. I’m guessing we all want to hit that bar a little earlier.
you’ve been asked here today because you are all an important part of Brian and Brittany‘s life. We have all watched them grow up together, grade school to college, to amazing, beautiful, young adults. We have experienced every break up and make up you two shared, which, was a lot! I think I speak for everyone, thank you for finally getting your act together!
Bryan, as your cousin, I am honored and grateful to have this chance to marry you and the love of your life today, Brittany, you had a lot of faith in me to do this, the same faith you had in choosing Bryan as your baby daddy. For you, I am thankful.
Regardless of how you first met these two, Brian and Brittany are happy you made it here, to show your love and support for this momentous occasion.
As they share the next decades of their life together, they’re going to experience their fair share of ups and downs. But one thing I know about these two, is that they complete each other perfectly, and our happiest when they are together.
Are you ready to repeat your vowels to each other? Please keep in mind that you are not marrying me, so look into each other’s eyes as you say your vowels.
Do you Bryan take this woman Brittany to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live?
