1. Welcome

"Good evening, everyone.

We are gathered here today in the presence of family and friends to celebrate one of life’s greatest moments: the joining of two hearts, the joining of two souls — the marriage of Robert Louis Gosecki and Jenny Lynn Iles."

"Thank you all for being here today to share in this very special occasion."

"Marriage is not just a bond between two people — it is a promise made in the heart, sometimes spoken out loud, but always understood. It’s choosing each other every single day, even when life gets complicated. It’s laughter, strength, patience, and trust."

"Robert and Jenny are entering into this union today with love, with open hearts, and with the deep understanding that marriage is a journey — one they are excited to travel together."

Rob, do you take Jenny to be your lawful wedded wife, to have and to hold and live together in the covenant of marriage? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor, and keep her, in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, as long as you both shall live?

Jeni, do you take Rob to be your lawful wedded husband, to have and to hold and live together in the covenant of marriage? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor, and keep him, in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, as long as you both shall live?

6. Exchange of Vows

"Rob and Jenny have prepared their own vows to each other."

(Hand the microphone to Rob and then to Jenny.)

7. Exchange of Rings

"May we have the rings, please?"

"These rings are a symbol of the promises you make to each other today — small in size, but large in meaning.

They are a reminder of the love and commitment you have pledged here."

For Rob: Rob, as you place this ring on Jeni's finger repeat after me:

"I, Robert, take you, Jeni, to be my wife.

To have and to hold from this day forward,

for better, for worse,

for richer, for poorer,

in sickness and in health,

to love and to cherish,

until death do us part."

8. Pronouncement
