Welcome:
We are here today to celebrate the miracle of love. Joshua and Declyn have found that miracle in each other and now desire to share their love all the days of their lives.
Consent:
Declyn, do you take Joshua to be your wedded husband, to live together after God’s ordinance in the holy estate of matrimony? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, remain faithful to him as long as you both shall live?
I do.
Joshua, do you take Declyn to be your wedded wife, to live together after God’s ordinance in the holy estate of matrimony? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, remain faithful to her as long as you both shall live?
I do.
Personal Vows:
Declyn
Joshua
Address and Reading:
Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its’ own way; it is not irritable or resentful’; it does not rejoice at wrong but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. So, faith, hope and love abide, but the greatest of these is love.
Vows: Please join hands and face each other.
Declyn, please repeat after me.
I Declyn, take you, Joshua, to be my wedded husband. I promise before God and these witnesses to be faithful and true, in plenty and in want, in joy and in sorrow, in sickness and in health, and I will love you and cherish you for as long as we both shall live.
Joshua, please repeat after me.
I Joshua, take you, Declyn, to be my wedded wife. I promise before God and these witnesses to be faithful and true, in plenty and in want, in joy and in sorrow, in sickness and in health, and I will love you and cherish you for as long as we both shall live.
Explanation of rings.
May I have the rings please.
The wedding ring is the outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual bond that unites two loyal hearts in endless love. May these tings always remind you that it was love that brought you together, and it is love that will keep you together through all the seasons of your lives.
Ring exchange vows.
Joshua, repeat after me as you place the ring on Declyn‘s finger.
Declyn, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and faithfulness, and as I place it on your finger, I commit my very heart and soul to you. I ask you to wear this ring as a reminder of the vows we have spoken on this, our wedding day.

Blessing.
May all that you are, always be in love; may all that is love, always be in you. May your love be as beautiful on each day you share as it is on this day of celebration. May each day you share be as precious to you as the day when you first fell in love. May you always see and encourage the best in each other. May the challenges life may bring your way make your marriage even stronger. May you always be each other’s best friend and greatest love.
