Officiated by Tina Stocum at Sherwood Forest in Valley View, Ohio on December 14th, 2024. Witnessed by Olivia Jukic Beachler and Nicholas Papas.
"I was asked a year ago by my nephew and his fiancé to officiate their wedding. I was completely surprised by the request but very happily accepted. A little over a year later, I've completed my first wedding. There was laughter, there were tears of joy and happiness. It was a wonderful experience."

Welcome/Address
Please be seated. For those of you who don’t know me, what a shame. (Pause for chuckles - *requested by bride and groom)
We are gathered here today to witness the sacred union of Dario Jukic and Marissa Papas. We stand here to honor and celebrate the love shared between these two people as they come together to start their new life with a solemn vow, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
At this time, we'd like to take a moment of silence to remember those who are not here with us. Even though they are not here physically, they are a part of the foundation that makes Marissa & Dario the people they are today. May we always remember them and cherish their legacies for years to come. (Pause for 5-10 seconds)
This ceremony celebrates the beginning of your marriage. It's a journey of love, understanding, perseverance, and dedication to one another that lasts through time. As we stand here today to mark this occasion, we remember that what matters most is not the ceremony itself, but the love and companionship you will continue to share throughout your married life together.
Exchange of Vows
You have chosen to write your own vows, and it is with these words you express your binding promises to love, honor, and cherish one another. If you are ready to make these promises to each other I invite you now to face each other and declare your intentions.
Dario’s Vows
Marissa's Vows
Do you, Dario, take this woman to be your wedded wife? (Dario to say I do)
Do you, Marissa, take this man to be your wedded husband? (Marissa to say I do),
Exchanging of Rings
It is now time for you to exchange rings. By themselves, these wedding rings are already loaded with meaning. However, before exchanging those physical manifestations of a lifelong love, Marissa & Dario have decided to hold a ring warming ceremony.
I now invite the parents to stand with the couple in deep thought and reflection. Hold the rings in your hand for some moments, say a silent wish or prayer for Marissa & Dario, and warm the rings with your love. Once these rings reach the lovely couple, they will also be a tangible reminder that they are not alone. As they enter this new chapter of their life, they have a community of people who want nothing but the best for them.
Dario, please place this ring on Marissa's finger and repeat after me:
I, Dario, take you, Marissa, to be my wedded wife. I promise to stand by your side through good times and bad, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health. I vow to stay true to you and love you unconditionally for the rest of my days.
Marissa, please place this ring on Dario's finger and repeat after me:

Pronouncement
