"This was a fun, humorous, and beautiful ceremony. There were a lot of laughs. We just went with the flow, some skipped words, or adding on, because it just happened that way. But it was a great ceremony. Everyone at the end said it fit them to a T. That is what I aim for every time. "

Welcome:
Hello and welcome! Cheryl and Charles, welcome to your wedding! I am thrilled for the life that you are creating together and for your marriage which begins right now. You have discovered each other, made the conscious decision of commitment, and today you step over the threshold into the first day of the rest of your shared life.
Not only that, you are accompanied by witnesses of the best kind. To our guests: you are the dear and important people in Cheryl and Charles' lives, assembled to celebrate their union. You are the ones who know them well, and you are an integral part of this ceremony, for the witnesses of a ceremony are just as important to the ceremony as the participants themselves. We feel your love and caring which fills our ceremony with meaning, and is the same love and caring that will create a web of ongoing support for these two throughout their marriage. In this way, you make this ceremony more than just a moment in time between two people, you make this a community milestone event to be remembered for years to come.
It all began 9 yrs ago on a birthday dinner at Chilli”s. Cheryl and her son are just going to celebrate with his mom. Not knowing she would meet her future mate, but he didn’t know either. All he did was pay the bill for them in secret as a nice gesture. But with her investigating abilities, found the man who paid the bill. But he didn’t want a thank you note, he wanted to take her out to dinner. After many attempts, and tribulations, it finally happened. Which has led them and us all here now.
Cheryl and Charles I can’t think of two people more suited to go through life together than you. In the time we’ve gotten to know each other, you’ve certainly both made me smile, and I’ve seen that your marriage will be built on a foundation of love and trust, and that’s the best shot any of us can give. You’ll need to depend on that foundation of trust and of love throughout your marriage. You’ll need to be more patient than you’ve ever had to be before. You’ll experience higher highs and lower lows than ever before, but now you’ll be in it together-for good.
Now Cheryl and Charles we are at the heart of your ceremony. This is the moment everything shifts. For the two of you nothing will have changed, ok accept trying to live under one roof and being bound for life. But the same love and commitment will be there. The life that you have already been building and sharing will just grow stronger. Besides you being a couple in love you will be legally married, and you will have vows and promises to one another. With witnesses surrounding you to watch and support you as you hold hands to give your consent and vows to each other.
With that in mind, let’s check some legal boxes, shall we!
Vows:
Charles: Do you take Cheryl to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love and comfort her for better or worse, in sickness and health, and not get upset at Reba for stealing the covers and bed, for as long as you both shall live?
Charles I Do
Cheryl: Do you take Charles to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love and comfort him for better or worse, in sickness and health, and try my best to keep Reba from stealing the covers and bed, for as long as you both shall live?
Cheryl I Do
Ring Exchange:
May I please have the rings!? The ring is a symbol of infinite love, commitment and trust. Its circle shape is never ending and never broken. It symbolizes the promises you both made to each other.
Okay, Charles, now it’s time to put a ring on it. Repeat after me, please. Cheryl, I give you this ring as a symbol that I will love you, honor you, cherish you, and I’ll try not to use every item in the kitchen dirty when I’m cooking or baking.
Alright, Cheryl, it’s your turn. Repeat after me, please. Charles, I give you this ring as a symbol that I will love you, honor you, cherish you, and I’ll try not to ask you every month about getting that honey do list done.
Your rings have been exchanged and you both have given your consent in marriage. After that touching and humorous exchange, there’s only one thing left to do, and that’s for me to do my part. By the power vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the state of New Jersey, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride.
Ladies and Gentlemen, it gives me great honor and pleasure to present to you
Mr & Mrs. Mish
