Officiated by Sharon D Phillips at Home in Newark, New Jersey on November 15th, 2024. Witnessed by Sharron Myers and James Davis.
"Officiating this wedding for Jade and Zaivon was memorable to see two young people in love, ready to commit and take on the world and all it's challenges together. It was an intimate, religious wedding, short and sweet. The couple was able to Zoom in family and friends that couldn't attend. I wish them all the best and blessed that I was able to be part of their love story. "

Invocation
Officiant to the couple and guests
We are gathered here today in the presence of God and our Lord Jesus Christ to unite Jade Njilou and Zaivon Lawson in holy matrimony. Marriage is a sacred covenant, established by God, and is not to be entered into lightly but with thoughtful commitment, reverence, and a deep understanding of the responsibilities that come with it.
As Jesus taught us, love is the foundation of all things, and through His example, we learn that true love is patient, kind, selfless, and enduring. Let Jade and Zaivon remember that their love for one another should mirror the unconditional love Christ has for all of us.
