Dearly beloved, we are gathered here in the presence of God, family, and friends to witness a joyous occasion - the union of Hunter and Hailee in Holy Matrimony.
The sacred covenant of marriage to join this couple in love and prosperity, so they might weather the ups and downs of life with a constant friend and build a family that’s made strong and joyful in faith.
This holy bond is not to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly, but reverently, deliberately, thoughtfully, and in accordance with those purposes for which God created it.
Hunter and Hailee met in high school, in 2018. The day after they met they started facetiming which became every evening. Their friendship led to their dating and here we are today. Over the past five years they’ve laughed together, danced together, and learned what it means to be partners, growing closer every step of the way. Hailee and Hunter share a love of concerts, scary movies and haunted houses. One of their treasured memories is Myrtle Beach for Hailee’s b-day.
Now they stand before us, ready to take the biggest step of all – into marriage.
If anyone present knows of any reason why this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace.
Hunter and Hailee will now exchange vows as a symbol of their commitment and endless devotion.
Hunter, if it’s in your heart, please repeat after me.
In the name of God,
I, Hunter, take you, Hailee,
to be my wife
to have and to hold from this day forward,
for better for worse,
for richer for poorer,
in sickness and in health,
to love and to cherish,
until death do us part.
This is my solemn vow.
Hailee, if it’s in your heart, please repeat after me.
In the name of God,
I, Hailee, take you, Hunter,
to be my husband
to have and to hold from this day forward,
for better for worse,
for richer for poorer,
in sickness and in health,
to love and to cherish,
until death do us part.
This is my solemn vow.
You will now exchange rings as a symbol of these vows. As you look upon these tokens of your commitment, remember the promises you’ve made, and never despair, for life’s challenges and joys are all part of His great plan.
Lord, bless these rings as you would bless this union, in your light and infinite wisdom, today, tomorrow, and always. Amen.
Hunter repeat after me, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and devotion. With all that I am, and all that I have, I promise to honor and cherish you,
Hailee repeat after me, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and devotion. With all that I am, and all that I have, I promise to honor and cherish you,
This marriage unites not just Hunter and Hailee, but all of the families sitting here today. They ask now for your blessing. Do you promise to support them in their marriage, to keep them in your prayers, to hold them up with love, and to rejoice as they walk this path together?
Father, bless this marriage and let your divine light illuminate their path as they build a joyous life built on profound love, compassion, devotion, and your eternal wisdom.
Let Hunter and Hailee be a comfort to each other, and bless them with patience, so they may always find strength and endurance to fulfill the promises they have made here before You and us all. Amen.
Hunter and Hailee, remember to love each other faithfully for marriage is a lasting promise of kindness, patience, forgiveness, and love. Trust in God with all your heart, and your path forward will be filled with joy and light for all the years to come.
