INVOCATION
• Officiant to reception
Welcome and thank you, family and friends, for being here today, to witness this celebration of these two beautiful people’s love for each other.
• Officiant to Lillyana’s Dad
Who gives this woman to be married to this man?
• Lillyana’s Dad
Her Mother and I
• Officiant will ask Lillyana’s Dad to be seated.
• Officiant will direct guests to be seated.
We ask you to take a minute, to take any pictures you like of the bride and groom. Then please put your phones / cameras away until the ceremony is complete.
I asked the couple what they wanted me to include in this ceremony, and they told me to keep things short and sweet. I figured light and funny doesn’t hurt either. I’m guessing we all want to hit that bar and buffet as soon as possible.
You’ve been asked here today because you are all an important part of Lillyana and Dustin’s life. Maybe you were that person who taught Dustin that rather than taking a big leap, it’s best to take smaller strides forward to achieve that big leap, or the one who showed Lillyana how to change the oil in her car and change a tire. No matter what the connection, you are all here for a reason and we’re very thankful you all could make it.
Regardless of how you first met these two, Lillyana and Dustin are happy you made it here, to show your love and support for this momentous occasion… And of course, to get free food!
As they share the upcoming decades of their life together, they’re going to experience their fair share of ups and downs. But one thing I know about these two is that they complete each other perfectly, and are happiest when they’re together.
They’re like Oreos and Milk, or Brownies and ice cream! You just can’t have one without the other!!! Once you put ‘em together, you can’t take ‘em apart. They’re better together and bonded for life.
DECLARATION OF INTENT

With that being said, a successful marriage takes more than just snacks, it takes more than just love. It takes hard work and patience. It takes commitment and trust. Marriage requires courage, an open mind, and a heart full of hope.

Lillyana and Dustin, do you promise to respect, care for, and love each other, unconditionally, from this day forward? If so, please say “We Do!”

EXCHANGE OF RINGS (obtain rings from the best man)
• Officiant to Best Man
May I have the rings please.
• Officiant to couple
Thank you both for sharing your vows with all of us. The rings you are about to place on each other's fingers are symbols of the love you expressed. They will remind you of the vows you have just spoken, and of the eternal love that you have for one another.
The circle is a symbol of an eternal bond -- there is no beginning and no end. That means you two are stuck with each other! It is a lifetime commitment to each other and a reminder of your endless love and respect for each other. By placing these rings on each other's fingers, you are promising to not just love each other, but to honor each other, to be compassionate, patient, and understanding as you build your future together. You can both feel the love here today. These rings represent this love. Not just your love for each other, but from everyone here today. Let these rings be a reminder of that love, and of the promises you make to each other today, tomorrow and always.
