Officiant To guests:
Welcome, loved ones. We gather on this joyful occasion to celebrate love, laughter, and light on (ADRIAN) and (ERIKA)’s wedding day.
Thank you for being here!
Before we begin today’s celebration, I have just one question for our family & friends, that I’d like for you to answer loudly and proudly: Are we ready to get these two married?!
-guests respond "yes!" and cheer
Officiant to the Couple/Guests:
ERIKA and Adrian have asked that I share some of my own words.
I've known Erika since she was a little girl, and over the years, she has grown into a wonderful, caring, and loving woman who cares for her mother, father, and family. Since meeting Adrian, he has shown her unconditional love, support, faithfulness, and what it means to have a loving and constant partner. The love they've shown is what's guiding them into a thriving and growing future. To have seen them grow together and begin to build a life is what love is about.
(Erika) and (Adrian), your lives blend seamlessly together today and you’re about to embark on the greatest of adventures. A new path is ahead of you, and to navigate it well, there are skills to be learned and practiced daily.
On that note, a good marriage sometimes takes a really good sense of humor...
Declaration of Intent - Officiant to the couple
With this wisdom – and your love - in mind, I now ask you:
Officiant to Erika:
(Erika), do you take (Adrian) to be your (husband), and your cherished best friend?
-ERIKA responds in the affirmative.
Officiant to Adrian:

Officiant to ADRIAN:
The officiant turns to Adrian, who repeats each portion of the vows after it's read;
"I promise to share the covers, leave the toilet seat down, and not throw my dirty socks everywhere. Most of all, I vow to never stop playing with you – to love you as my best friend, lover, and partner in life. ''
-ADRIAN repeats each portion
