ABOUT THIS WEDDING
"This time I not only officiated their wedding, but also participated in their wedding rehearsal. For the rehearsal we planned out the location for the ceremony and used a barrel for the sand ceremony and a horseshoe designed area for the ceremony itself. This wedding was a destination wedding for the couple who was from South Carolina. They had picked the right time and date for the ceremony since they didn't have to be burdened with the extreme heat Arizona has had all summer. It was a beautiful night at 5:30 pm with a wonderful background of the mountains. During the ceremony a sand ceremony was conducted whereby the couple poured sand into their memoir receptacle which had sand poured from the river/lake of their hometown and mixed with Arizona sand. This was quite unique! The wedding party was small but contained both families. In addition, the photographer was very accommodating and nice. I was very happy and pleased to have been the officiant for this memorable event."
