Robert Agudelo And Caitlin Gross’ Wedding Wedding Ceremony Script

Welcome Statement

Minister:

Welcome, I’d like to say, on behalf of Caitlin and Robert, thank you all so very much for being here. I know it means a lot to them.

May we all take a moment to remember Debra Agudelo, Mother of Robert. Even though she is not here physically, She lives in our hearts and is a part of the foundation that makes Robert the person who he is today. We will cherish her memory during this time of joy.

We are here today to celebrate as we watch Caitlin and Robert join hands in marriage.

We’re here to laugh with them, some of you are here to cry (and some may have already started) but most of all, we’re here to wish them well as they begin their new life together.

Wedding Sermon

Minister: Caitlin and Robert ,

As you stand here today

Realize that you are preparing to celebrate one of life's greatest gifts,

The depths of which you have only begun to explore.

This couple has already joined their hearts and lives in countless ways,

which makes what we do here today not the beginning of a union

but a recognition of a bond that already exists.

Your journey began long before today.

Through shared dreams, challenges, laughter, and tears, you have built a deep, resilient love.

You have found joy in each other’s happiness, comfort in each other’s presence, and strength in each other’s love.

Today, as we mark the continuation of your shared life, we all so celebrate the love and trust you have cultivated.

Marriage is not just a destination; it's a journey — one that will have its good times and not-so-good times.

No matter what you two face, it's important to remember that you are in this together.

Henceforth, your lives will become permanently intertwined.

The union you form today is built to withstand any and all challenges.

In this spirit, I will now share a short quote from author Harvey Mackay:

"Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right. Forgive the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it'd be easy. They just promised it would be worth it."

Declaration of Intent

Minister: Caitlin and Robert, you will now hold hands.

Robert, Do you take Caitlin, as your Wife and your companion?

Do you vow to be caring, respectful and to cherish her with all your heart.

Do you promise to support her through times of trouble, and rejoice with her in times of happiness, from this day forward?

Robert,: I Do

Minister: Caitlin, Do you take Robert, as your Husband and companion?

Do you vow to be caring, respectful and to cherish him with all you heart.

Do you promise to support him through times of trouble, and rejoice with him in times of happiness, from this day forward?

Caitlin: I Do

Minister: Let us proceed. With the vows exchanged today, you will both finalize this promise and begin life anew, together.

May I have the rings, please?

Ring Exchange / Vows

Minister:

The wedding ring is a symbol of the unending power of love between two beings.

Its circular shape has no beginning and no end, representing a boundless spiritual connection.

Even when you find yourselves apart, your rings will provide a powerful reminder of the eternal love you share.

As you place the ring on your partner's finger I ask that you Please repeat after me:

With this ring,

I, Robert,

Commit my love to you, Caitlyn

For all time,

Giving you all that I am and all that I will be.

Please accept it as a symbol of my love.

With this ring,

I, Caitlyn,

Commit my love to you,Robert

For all time,

Giving you all that I am and all that I will be.

Please accept it as a symbol of my love.

Pronouncement

Minister: Family and friends, by the power vested in me by the state of Maryland, I now formally pronounce Robert and Caitlyn to be Husband and Wife.

Kiss

Minister: Robert, you may now kiss the Bride.

Presentation

Minister: Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to present, for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Agudelo!
