"I was pretty nervous when I first walked out. But as soon as the bride and groom( daughter n law and son) were in front of me I calmed down and nailed it. I had many many people coming to me telling me how good of a job I did. So I was very happy with it."
Welcome Family and Friends, I am Michael, Jarrett’s Bonus dad. When these two came to
me and ask me to marry them, it was the greatest honor a dad could receive. But I did
realize at that moment I should have paid closer attention during public speaking class at school.
So just Bear with me and focus on Jenna and Jarrett.
I would like to take a moment to remember those who could not be with us here today,
either because of distance or because they have gone on before us. In particular Jarrett’s
Daddy Brandon Hendrix. Though he is not physically present here today he is
with us in spirit—He is linked forever to our lives and shared memories.
We are gathered here today to Celebrate the marriage of Jenna and Jarrett . Everyone here
has affected their lives in one way or another. I ask today that you continue to love and
support them through this next chapter of their lives.
Who gives this woman to be married to this man?
Jarrett, it has been an honor and privilege to watch you grow from the little boy who loved
playing and pushing your tractors and trucks in the dirt, to the grown man who now loves
driving those tractors and trucks in the dirt.
And then Jenna, you came along and what a blessing you are! We’ve watched as you two have
grown overtime. And I realize Jarrett has met his match. Because now Jarrett isn’t just
driving the tractors and trucks, Jenna has him in the kitchen making gourmet meals, going
shopping, and watching harry potter, I never in my life would have thought that would ever
happen. I have watched you both go through highs and lows. I have watched Sacrifices You
have made for each other. That is all part of being a couple, being a team being husband
and wife. Jenna and Jarrett, marriage is not always easy, it does not always go as planned,
You are going to have difficulties, you are going to have disagreements, but remember
above anything, always put God first in all that you do. Because with Christ as your
foundation, your foundation will be solid and strong.
1st Corinthians says.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.
Let’s pray!!!

And now, its time for the exchange of wedding rings. These rings represent the unending commitment between Jenna and Jarrett as they experience marriage. They will serve as a constant reminder of their wedding vows. LETS PRAY.
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that you will bless these rings. Grant that Jenna and Jarrett may wear them with deep faith in you and in each other. May they do your will and always live together in peace, love and abiding joy. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen!
