Tonea Henry And Charles Malone’s Wedding Wedding Ceremony Script

Welcome family and friends. We have gathered here together in the presence of God to unite Tonea Henry & Charle Malone. in a holy covenant of marriage.

The Bible teaches that marriage is to be a permanent and covenant relationship between one man and one woman who comes freely and gives themselves to one another for life. The Lord declared that a man shall leave his father and his mother and Cleave unto his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Who gives this woman to married today?

Let us all join together in a word of prayer.

Prayer

Father God, we thank you for the gift of marriage and

all the joy and love that it brings. Lord, we come here today lifting this couple up as they begin their journey down the road as husband and wife. Help them to keep their covenant to one another. Help them to realize that nothing or no one is perfect including themselves. Teach them to forgive one another just as you have forgiven us. Bless them with happiness and fulfillment, as they combine their two lives together as one. Bless the family and friends that represent them here today. We give you the honor and glory in Jesus’s Name AMEN!

From The Officiant

Tonea and Charles

Love is the foundation for a marriage and a marriage is a companionship which involves

mutual commitment and responsibility that you give to one another. As you become husband and wife and share in those responsibilities and joys in life. Your sorrie will be cut in half, but your Joys will be doubled.

Despite all our differences, love is the one thing we all share. Love is the reason you both are standing before all of us today.

Love, is a virtue that is best portrayed in the bible in 1Corinthian 13:4 The apostle Paul gives us a description of the type of love that we need he writes:

Love is patient, love is kind.

It does not envy.

It is not boastful or be proud.

It does not dishonor others, or self-seeking,

It is not easily angered; and it keeps no record of wrongs

but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, love never ends

So, there is faith, hope, and love. The bible teaches us that the greatest of these is love.

Tonea & Charles, you are encouraged to dedicate the home that you are creating as husband and wife to the Lord. Continue to pray as a family and remain faithful as a family. Remember to always trust in God and put him first. He will direct your path

At this time are you prepared to make your

Declaration of Intent to marry

Please face each other and hold hands. The words you are about to express are your binding promises to love, honor, and cherish one another. Please answer by saying I do.

Tonea: do you take Charles to be your wedded husband according to God law in a holy state of matrimony? Will you love him? Respect him & keep her sick and health? Forsaking all others & keep yourself faithful to him as long as you both shall live. If so, your response is

Rings

May we have the rings.

These rings are a symbol of your continued love and commitment that you have made before God. By placing these rings on each other's fingers, you are promising to not just to love each other, but to honor each other, to be compassionate, patient, and understanding as you build your future together. As you wear these rings, let them be a reminder of the love you share and the promises that you made here today.

Charles as you place the ring on Tonea left ring finger please repeat after me. “With this ring I thee wed, I pledge my love for you now and forever.
