Minister ID: 1344207 View Ordination Certificate
Officiated by Jaylin Angelica Benavides at Hotel Albuquerque in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 19th, 2024.
"This was my very first wedding and I was extremely nervous. When by brother asked me to perform the wedding I was honored but also wondering how this process would all work. American Marriage Ministries was very helpful and added all the tools and resources I needed to ensure my ceremony was wonderful. There were some technical things I had forgotten including the Unity Rope....however no one seemed to notice and actually thought it was all part of the ceremony. I know realise that things are going to happen and very rarely are weddings "perfect". I learned to just go with the flow and not beat myself up over the little mistakes. Now I will know for next time and the future weddings I can hopefully do."
*This is a friendly reminder to everyone that we have our lovely photographer, Guillermo, who will be taking pictures for us today. Due to that our bride and groom have asked for all attendees to silence and put away all electronic devices until the ceremony is over.*
Opening

Officiant:
Good afternoon beautiful guests. My name is Jaylin Wyrwitzke I am Marcel’s sister, and it is my honor to be standing here before you all for these special moments. We gather here today, surrounded by love, family, and friends to witness the merging of two souls destined to walk this life together. Thank you all for being a part of this sacred celebration of Mearah and Marcel, as they begin this new chapter together.
Acknowledgment of Presence
Officiant:
Before we begin, let us take a moment of gratitude to reflect on the beautiful space we are in, this joyous occasion we are here to witness and to offer our thoughts and prayers of love and support to the young couple as they join their lives in marriage.
(Moment of Silence)
Today, we are reminded of the ancient wisdom that tells us love is the essence of life itself—a divine force that binds us all together. We have all loved in our lifetimes, and in this moment, we're reminded that the ability to love is the very best part of our humanity.
For those of you who don’t know, Marcel and Mearah started their journey first as coworkers which became the beginning of a friendship for over two years creating a solid foundation for their eventual future together. You both may have fallen in love by chance, but you're here today because you're making a choice. You both are choosing each other, choosing to create your own family. You've chosen to be with someone who enhances you, makes you think, makes you smile, and makes every day brighter. You're about to make a promise with one another that you intend to keep. You're going to vow to take care of each other, to stand up for one another, and find happiness in the other. There's a simple underlying premise to each of these promises: you're vowing to be there.
You're teaming up and saying to each other: 'Every experience I am going to have in the future, I want you to be a part of.'"
Declaration of Intent
Officiant:
Marcel & Mearah, the decision to marry is a deeply personal and spiritual commitment. Your strong love has brought you to this moment, and now you have come to make your commitment known.
Marcel, as you know from the moment you met Mearah, your life has been enriched by her presence. Do you now, with reverence and hope, choose Mearah to be your partner in life, promising to cherish, uplift, and stand by her faithfully, as you journey together through all that life may bring?
Marcel: I do.
Officiant:
Mearah, you have found in Marcel a kindred spirit, a companion whose love has touched your soul deeply. Do you now, with gratitude and joy, choose Marcel to be your partner in life, promising to honor, support, and love him unconditionally, as you walk together into the future?
Mearah: I do.
Officiant (to both):
Since you have freely expressed your intention to unite in marriage, may your hearts and souls now be bound together as one.
Exchange of Vows
Officiant:
For the wedding vows, Mearah and Marcel have decided to share their vows privately with one another before the ceremony. We will move on to the exchange of rings.
Exchange of Rings
Officiant:
The wedding ring is a symbol of eternity, its precious metal symbolizing the enduring nature of your commitment to one another. As you exchange these rings, may they be a constant reminder of the promises you have made here today.
(Marcel takes Mearah's ring.)
Officiant (to Marcel):
Marcel, as you place this ring on Mearah's finger, please repeat after me: "With this ring, I give you my heart, my love, and my commitment to walk beside you, to support you, and to cherish you all the days of our lives."
(Marcel places the ring on Mearah's finger and repeats the vow.)
Officiant:
Mearah, as you place this ring on Marcel's finger, please repeat after me: "With this ring, I give you my heart, my love, and my commitment to walk beside you, to support you, and to cherish you all the days of our lives."
(Mearah places the ring on Marcel's finger and repeats the vow.)
Unity Ritual
Officiant:
Today, Marcel and Mearah have chosen to perform a unity ritual. This ritual represents the merging of their lives, hopes, and dreams into one shared journey. As you both participate in this act, remember that your individual paths now become intertwined, united in love and in spirit.
(The Unity Ritual is performed.)
Officiant:
Marriage is a sacred bond, a spiritual commitment, and a profound expression of love. Marcel and Mearah, as you stand here today, remember that your love for each other is a gift—a gift that you must cherish, nurture, and protect.
Pronouncement
Officiant:
Marcel and Mearah, by the power vested in me and the state of New Mexico, in the presence of our loving witnesses here today, I am delighted to now pronounce you husband and wife. You may seal your commitment with a kiss.
(Couple kisses.)
