"This wedding was the first wedding I have ever preformed, and i couldn't have been chosen for something more special than marrying my cousin and her lovely, now husband then fiancé, Ryan. I had a little trouble writing out the script for the wedding, but our family loves The Princess Bride, and once that inspiration struck it was a no brainer from there, it was a lovely wedding with great food and family surrounding us, and it was a simple ceremony which once got into, went like clockwork. I cant wait to be able to do this again "

Welcome & Invocation
Welcome! Dear friends and family we have all gathered here today to witness the marriage of Devon and Ryan. As they promise to love, honor and cherish one another for the rest of their lives. They have chosen you- their close family and friends to share this moment with them, thank you for gathering together to witness their marriage and share in the joy of this special occasion. (Possible Lord's Prayer)
Reading
To quote a movie that this family is very fond of, “Death cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it a little while” And while neither Devon or Ryan have faced the Pit of Despair, The Six Fingered Man, or even come back from the brink of death thanks to Billy Crystal, the statement still rings true, on how love, if it is true love, cannot and will not stop, and having seen their relationship grow and blossom over this past year I have no doubts that Ryan could and would do all of these things for Devon, and Devon would willingly throw herself down a hill after pushing Ryan down that same hill.
While we're on the subject of love and some possibly outdated references, I couldn't help but feel like I needed to include something meaningful that had nothing to do with music or movies or tv, not left with much option i turned to books, surprising i know, a quote by Leo Tolstoy resonated "I think... if it is true there are as many minds as there are heads, then there are as many kinds of love as there are hearts." Every kind of love is different, and as you go forth on this new path that you have forged together, your love will look different than anyone else's, and may that make you stronger and happier as you walk down, or roll down, the hill of life.
Declaration of Intent
Do you, Ryan, promise to love and cherish Devon and respect her, to share your life and your dreams with her, to build a home that is a place of love, safety, commitment, and happiness? (I Do.) Do you promise to be a companion to her in success and failure, happiness and sadness, to give her support that does not come with conditions and the freedom to be herself? (I Do)

Vows
The couple has written their own vows which they now would like to share with each other
The Rings
The rings that you are about to place on each other's fingers are a visible sign of the vows you have made. These hands over time will change, yes, but you as people and as partners will change, but the promise to love, cherish and respect one another no matter the things life throws at you will always be worn around your finger. As you walk forward into the unknown together, these rings and these vows will hold you together, come what may.
Ryan, please place the ring you hold on Devons finger and repeat after me
As this ring encircles your finger…From this moment forward…So will my love encircle you…You will never walk alone…My heart will be your shelter…My arms will be your home…We will walk through life as partners & best friends…I promise to do my best to love, cherish and respect you…You have my heart until the end of time…I have no greater gift to give
