Officiated by Michael Lee Holtgrave at Loveland Estates in Pocahontas, Illinois on August 9th, 2025.
"It was truly an honor to be able to play such a big part in my little brother's special day. From joking around about officiating to actually doing it still baffles me. The atmosphere of the venue and all of the love that was shared that day was truly a blessing. I cannot wait to see what new adventures life will bring these two. "

GREETING & INVOCATION
Officiant to the Couple and Reception
Welcome family and friends, thank you for being here to share this special day with Nick and Paige as we celebrate their love and forever commitment to each other.
After meeting through McKendree, Nick and Paige, you created a strong bond.
To keep your relationship strong, I encourage you to continue to be firm in your faith, which will lead to oneness in your hearts.
Your union brings with it love, joy, and happiness. Love is the greatest gift God gave us all, and I encourage everyone here to share their love every day with those around you.
Paige and Nick, remember the joy you have today and the love you have for each other, which will continue to grow as time passes.
As you begin the next chapter of your lives, always remember this:
"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things [and most of all, your love can] endure all things."

MARRIAGE PRAYER
Officiant to the Couple and the Reception
Let us bow our heads and pray a blessing on this marriage:
Bless this day, O’ Lord, and bless this union. Help them to remember to grow into a strong love every day. Put your hedge of protection around them, and let nothing divide them.
Give them words both kind and loving to each other every day. Grant them the sacred bond of kindness, truthfulness, and faithfulness in their home. Make their hearts always ready to ask for forgiveness as well as to forgive. May they continue to bring out the best in each other and remember to keep you in their hearts.
We put this marriage into your hands, and ask for your blessing as they start this new life together. May the peace of Christ rule in their hearts, and the joy of the Lord be their strength on this journey together. In your name we pray, Amen.
CLOSING WORDS
Officiant to the Couple
Nick and Paige, as you stand here holding hands, I want to remind you that these are the hands of your best friend, a person vibrant with love, that will be there to catch you when you fall, that will lift you up when you are down, and celebrate the good times. From this day forward, remember to always hold each other’s hand.
I also want to encourage you both to spend time together, take lots of pictures, and most of all, celebrate the love you have for each other.
Keep making memories that years from now you will look back on and celebrate the life and love you have together. Remember the traits you love in each other for those are the reasons you fell in love.
