Today is a special day that we share between two people, Kelly Tatum and Stephanie Collins. It all started with two individuals not looking to… but ended up falling in love. They started as friends to lead into becoming the best of friends and then into true lovers. Today’s gathering is not to be entered into lightly, but with trust, honesty, passion and love.

There may have been some fears and even some tears, but your destiny was written in blue print of where you both should be in each other lives. You two matched your energy combined and together that energy created joy and happiness. Along the way unconditional love was developed and God allowed you two to be lead on this journey of life together. This leads us to today.

Kelly and Stephanie, I remind you that marriage is a precious gift. No matter what the circumstance is, no matter what the obstacle or the challenge, it is about the fight to keep each other’s needs first. It is a lifelong commitment and a challenge to love one another more completely each and every day. The vows through which you accept each other contain no hidden power within themselves, but it is to the extent that they express in words your intention and commitment and that they have meaning.

(Please bow our heads) Lord, Father God I ask that you continue to keep hold to your children here. I ask that no matter what the situation, as you already have done so… continue to bless Kelly and Stephanie throughout their marriage. Continue to give them the strength to hold on and communicate with each other. In your name we pray, Amen.

(Rings) Please repeat after me as you place this ring on each other’s finger: I give this ring as a gift to you. It symbolizes my desire that you be my wife from this day forward. As this ring has no end, neither does my love for you.

(DECLARATION OF MARRIAGE) Today you have consented together in holy matrimony, you have pledged to love to each other through your sacred vows and have exchanged rings as tokens of your love and commitment to each other. In closing, May the Lord bless you and keep you in your journey of life together. Remind yourselves often of the love that brought you together. Say. “I love you” every day. In this way, you ride out the storms.
