Officiated by Joy Lynn Smith at Bridal Home in Clinton, North Carolina on June 29th, 2024. Witnessed by Mary Herring and Cindee Franklin.
"This wedding style fitted both brides’ personalities! They held it in their backyard Kim’s family had been coming in over the previous several days. Each one was assigned a food and/or job for the reception. Of course, both brides were nervous and wanting to oversee everything. My job was trying to keep them calm beforehand. I was able to collect both mothers and brides before the ceremony to share a brief prayer. The ceremony was simple but remembrable. Afterward, it was a backyard party with music, dancing, good food and libations. "

Friends and family, we come together this evening to witness the marriage of Jennifer Robin Harrell and Kimberly Marie Remsing.
If anyone has any reason why these two should not be joined in Holy Matrimony, there’s the exit.
The couple has chosen to write their own vows. Kim, would you like to go first?
Robin, can you top that?
If you would please hand me the rings. Take a good look at these rings. Notice that they are round. It has no beginning or end and therefore is a symbol of infinity. It is endless, eternal, just the way love should be. It reminds us of the endless cycle of life and love. It is made of metal to represent the strength of your love.
Robin, please take Kim’s ring, place it on her finger and repeat after me:
I give you this ring,
in token and pledge
of my constant faith and everlasting love.
With this ring, I marry you.
