"I have know Courtney, the bride, for her whole life. From an adorable little girl to this stunning bride before us, I have watched her grow. I only known Brian here for a few short years, but I liked him immediately. I am a believer in destiny. I believe that this moment has been ordained for longer than these two realize. Dawn and Jackie, the mothers of the bride and groom were friends working together in Sears. If they suspected that one day they would be related, in-laws, they never let on. Brian and Courtney, although they grew up in the same neighborhood they were never really friends. They went to High School together but never traveled in the same circles. Courney admits to having had a secret crush on Brian in High School and Brian admits that he thought Courney was cute, but they never really conversed or connected But the wheels were in motion...It was Courtney who made the first move sending Brian a text message which led to first date at the Roo Bar in Plymouth. The first date almost didn’t happen with Brian in the bar, with no cell reception, waiting for a text from Courney and Courtney in the parking lot sending messages to Brian which he wasn’t receiving. They were both getting ready to leave thinking they had been stood up, but Providence stepped in and they ended up meeting. When I asked the couple if there was a moment when they knew that this was the person that they wanted to spend the rest of their life with, neither could answer. It was as if the relationship just grew naturally, organically into a pre-ordained fairly tale in which they would get married in a castle. The relationship went on undeterred with both of them knowing that they would one day get married. Brian picked out and bought an engagement ring and sat on it secretly for 6 months! Courtney, smart girl that she is, could sense that engagement was imminent. Every planned date had her wondering...is this it? Is he going to pop the question? Brian finally managed to surprise Courney on a trip to NH along the Kancamagus Highway. Courtney was busy with her camera trying to capture the perfect shot when Brian thrust a diamond into the shot and the inevitable question was asked. Tears of joy came unbidden and even Brian cried in that happy moment. And here we are today, the fulfillment of a journey that was predestined long ago. Destiny. "
