Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,

We are gathered together here to join Megan Woodard and James Carter in the union of marriage. Megan and James would like to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to share this special day with them. For those who could not be here and those who have passed on, we’d like to take a moment to remember loved ones that are here with us in spirit. In particular we remember:

The contract of marriage is not to be entered into lightly. It should be taken seriously and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.

Megan, James, this simple lock represents the bond of your marriage, a symbol of the commitment, trust, and security you share with your partner.

This bond is not to be taken lightly, and should never be taken for granted. Each of you holds a key to the lock, and a responsibility to protect and nurture the love you share.

To symbolize this unbreakable bond and your commitment to nurture and love one another, I invite you to secure your lock!
