We are gathered here together, in the sight of God as witnesses, to celebrate the marriage of Dennis Hesse and Heyji Moon in holy matrimony. Dennis, your mother’s prayer for you and Heyji is that the Lord, bless your marriage abundantly. And may your years together be filled with joy, hope, happiness, and each other’s peace as you begin your new life together as one. Amen.

LOVE STORY JOURNEY

Dennis and Heyji's love story is a tale of serendipity and shared passions. They met at The Hideaway, Heyji’s restaurant, where Dennis became a regular customer, even on rainy days. Their friendship quickly blossomed, fueled by their mutual love for jazz music and dancing. They're both adventurous and enjoy running out in the rain.

Their bond grew stronger as they spent more time together, cherishing every moment despite their busy lives.

For Dennis, it's Heyji’s kind, caring, extremely funny, and most of all, supportive personality that captivates him.

For Heyji, it's Dennis's quiet, shy nature combined with his loving affection and attentiveness qualities which make him incredibly handsome in her eyes.

It was one of their many dates of attending the Seoul Jazz Festival, that Dennis realized he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Heyji. On New Years Eve, 2023, he proposed to her at CheongNamDae, (in English The Blue House), a beautiful location surrounded by a lake and green mountains.

TO THE BRIDE & GROOM: 

DENNIS and HEYJI The contract of marriage is most solemn and is not to be entered into lightly,

but thoughtfully and seriously with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities.

Please remember that Love, Loyalty, Communication, and Understanding; and being able to forgive and never stop fighting for each other. This is the Foundation of a Happy and Enduring Home. No other human ties are more tender and no other vows more important than those you are about to pledge.

The wedding ring is an unbroken circle, symbolizing infinity and representing eternal love and commitment within a relationship. Wear these rings as a reminder of the vows you have just taken. As you look at these rings on your hands, may you be reminded of this moment.

I bless these rings in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
