Welcome, family and loved ones. We are gathered here today to celebrate the joining of [Jordan Stearn ] and [Nadia Magdalinska] in marriage.
Today is a celebration. A celebration of love, of commitment, of friendship, of family, and of two people who are in it for forever. But while marriage is, indeed, the joining of two hearts and two souls, it is also the joining of two individuals. Two people with their own thoughts, beliefs, and their own identities; identities which are not lost simply by the commitment made to love and support one another.
You fell in love by chance, but you're here today because you're making a choice. You both are choosing each other. You've chosen to be with someone who enhances you, who makes you think, makes you smile, and makes every day brighter. You're about to make promises to each other that you intend to keep. You're going to vow to take care of each other, to stand up for one another, and find happiness in each other. There's a simple premise to each of these’s promises: you're vowing to be there.
Because a marriage is a lifelong commitment and although the future promises many happy days ahead, it will also be filled with unique opportunities, adventures, and challenges. Please remember that love, loyalty, communication and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home. It is through these qualities and the unfailing support of each other that you will meet these inevitable ups and downs.
*May we have the rings*
Rings: These rings are a unified symbol of your marriage to the world. May they also be a daily reminder of your own individual promises, as well as your vow to stand together, have faith in each other and commit yourself wholeheartedly in love to each other .
Vows:
Do you [Blank] take this wo/man [Blank] to be your lawfully wedded wife/Husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto her/him for as long as you both shall live?
By the authority vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the State of Arizona I now pronounce you husband and wife!
