Veronica Joy Gonzales And Omar Richard Salim’s Wedding Wedding Ceremony Script

Invocaon (Officiant to Guests) •

Good aernoon! On behalf of the families of the bride and groom, I have the pleasure of welcoming you to the joining of Omar Richard Salim and Veronica Joy Gonzales in marriage.

• Over the past 7 years, my wife and I have seen how their love has come from just geng to know each other from church youth group to now standing in front of each other professing their lifelong commitment to one another in Holy matrimony.

• Whether as a family member, friend or mentor—or whatever role each of us here today have played in their lives—our influence has touched their individual journeys, and we celebrate with them as they now join their lives together, forever.

Officiant To Couple – Facing the officiant. •

Marriage is a lifelong partnership made publicly by those who choose to pledge their fIdelity, their companionship, their love, and their trust in one another.

•Marriage takes 3 to be complete. It’s not enough for two to meet. They must be united in love by He who first loved you, our Father in Heaven.

•Then their love will be firm and strong & able to last when things go wrong. • For a marriage that follows God’s plan, takes more than a man and a woman. It needs a oneness that can only be found in God. •

Remember the words spoken by Paul: “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” – ROMANS 12:10

• Meaning You have to invest and commit to your partner as much — if not more — than yourself.

TREE PLANTING CEREMONY OFFICIANT TO GUESTS

(OMAR) and (VERONICA) will now take part in a tree planting ceremony, to symbolize the roots of their relationship and the continued growth of their love, as they become each other’s family today.

• At this time, the couple steps up to the table and begins adding soil and water to the potted tree as officiant continues.

• We have realized during this time just how vital it is that Godly marriages be established and rooted in God's Word.

• Colossians 2:7 says: “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”

• The phrase “rooted and built up” can also be applied to marriage.

• Our marriages need to be rooted in a 1 Corinthians 13 kind of love. Love that is patient and selfless! It bears no record of wrong! It’s not arrogant, and it doesn’t insist on its own way. Marriage should be rooted in a love that is faithful and trustworthy.

The roots of love are those essenal things that can’t be compromised in a healthy relaonship. Trust, understanding, goodwill, faithfulness, paence. • They need to be there at the beginning, but are sll developed over me. OFFICIANT TO COUPLE • Let your relaonship and your love be like this tree you plant today. Let it grow tall and strong. • Like a tree, your marriage must be resilient. It must wear the challenges of daily life and the passage of me. • And just like the tree, marriage requires constant nurturing and nourishment. • Protect those roots of love. OFFICIANT QUESTION TO COUPLE (OMAR) and (VERONICA), are you now prepared to commit yourselves to a life together, seeking to grow as individuals and as a couple — year in and year out, with the nourishment and support you can give only to one another? • COUPLE TO THE OFFICIANT - We are! Exchange of Vows The couple has decided to recite their own vows to each other. • There are no vows more meaningful and powerful than those personal ones which will be shared here today. (Officiant to Couple) Your wedding vows are a sacred declaraon of your love for each other, the foundaon of your relaonship as a married couple, and the life you want to build together. Please face each other as you declare these vows to one another. • OMAR you may go first. • Groom: SAYS HIS VOWS. Officiant: VERONICA please now make your vows. • Bride: SAYS HERS.

Declaraon of Intent Officiant to Groom: • Do you, (OMAR), take (VERONICA), in the presence of God and our family and friends as witnesses, to be your wife, your partner in life and your one true love? • To make a lifeme commitment to be a considerate, tender, faithful, loving husband, to encourage, comfort and cherish (VERONICA) in mes of prosperity as well as in mes of trouble? • And do you pledge to establish a loving home for your own family, to make her the priority in your life, and to nurture your special relaonship always? Groom: I do Officiant to Bride: • Do you, (VERONICA), take (OMAR), in the presence of God and our family and friends as witnesses, to be your HUSBAND, your partner in life and your one true love? • To make a lifeme commitment to be a considerate, tender, faithful, loving wife, to encourage, comfort and cherish (OMAR) in mes of prosperity as well as in mes of trouble? • And do you pledge to establish a loving home for your own family, to make HIM the priority in your life, and to nurture your special relaonship always? OMAR, please place the ring on VERONICA’s left hand and repeat after me: • As a sign of my love • That I have chosen you • Above all else • With this ring, I gladly marry you • and join my life to yours, till death do us apart. VERONICA, please place the ring on OMAR’s left hand and repeat after me: • As a sign of my love • That I have chosen you • Above all else • With this ring, I gladly marry you • and join my life to yours, till death do us apart.
