"This was my very first wedding as the officiant, and it was perfect. Preparation is key to a successful wedding. I sat with both the bride and the groom to discuss their vision and to deepen my understanding of their love for the other and commitment to the marriage. From that, I drafted a custom script and tailored to timing minute by minute, which made for a productive rehearsal with the wedding party. One piece of advice - prepare, prepare and practice your lines. I have never been excited to speak in front of crowds, but the practice + preparation nearly eliminated any wedding day jitters. I am definitely open to officiating again in the future. Huge thank you to American Marriage Ministries for providing the resources and support to guide this experience! "
