Opening: Welcome to the ceremony of Wesley and Joe. As we gather here today at Point Defiance Park, we would like to thank our witnesses, our beloved daughter and coworker, Bethany Garcia, who will be braving the chilled, moist air to be a part of this momentous occasion. Your presence adds immense joy to the celebration, and we are truly grateful to share this special day with all of you.
Love Story: So, without further ado, Wesley and Joe's love story unfolded online, a modern-day romance sparked by the simple swipe of a screen. Intrigued by Joe's beauty and kindness, Wesley found a connection that transcended the digital realm. Joe, in turn, saw Wesley as a loving and gorgeous soul, bringing happiness to their burgeoning relationship.
Their encounters blossomed into real-world dates, and as they spent more time together, the sparks ignited into a flame of love. United by similar wants and needs, they embraced each other wholeheartedly, creating a bond built on acceptance and understanding. In their shared language, they described their connection as a blend of happiness and a promise of longevity, a love story uniquely tailored to the digital age but rooted in the timeless essence of true companionship.
Prayer: May your mornings bring joy and your evenings bring peace. May your troubles grow few as your blessings increase. May the saddest day of your future be no worse than the happiest day of your past. May your hands be forever clasped in friendship and your hearts joined forever in love.
As the golden threads of their love weave seamlessly into the tapestry of this joyous celebration, we now turn our hearts to the sacred exchange of vows that will bind Wesley and Joe in a lifetime of shared dreams and enduring commitment.
VOWS: Please repeat after me Wesley/Joe alternating…
With all that am, I, _______, take you, ________, to be my husband. I promise to be your lover, companion, and friend, your ally in conflict, your partner in peace, and your biggest supporter. I will be your companion in adventure, your comfort in disappointment, your accomplice in mischief, your strength in times of need.
I will listen with understanding, and trust you completely, all the days of my life.
This is my vow.
As we embark on this beautiful journey of marriage, let us now symbolize our commitment by exchanging these rings, tangible tokens of the love and promises we've just shared.
Ring Exchange: With this ring, I marry you. Wear it as a sign of my love and commitment. As this ring has no end, my love for you is also forever—unbroken and never-ending.
Closing: Ladies and gentlemen, it is with immense pleasure that I present to you for the very first time, as husbands, Wesley and Joe. By the power vested in me by the state of Washington, I now pronounce you married and you may now share your first kiss as a married couple.
