Officiated by Richard Travers at Normandy Farms in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania on September 28th, 2024. Witnessed by Richard Lewis Hess Sr. and Jillian Foley.
"On Saturday, September 28, 2024 I had the privilege and honor of officiating Richie & Angelina's wedding. Richie is my nephew. He and Ang are such a great couple and compliment each other perfectly in every way. At first my nerves kept me hoping I would do them justice and give them my best. I hope I did. It was a great experience and one I'll never forget."

Before we begin today’s celebration, If there is anyone here that for any reason feel that these two should not be married, Please Keep it to Yourself! They know what they’re doing!
*Carol Wagner (Me-mom) says opening prayer
Now, I have just one question for all of our family & friends, and I’d like for you to answer as loud as you can:
Are we ready to get these two married?!
Richie and Angelina, today your lives blend seamlessly together and you’re about to embark on the greatest of adventures. A new path is ahead of you, and to navigate it well, there are skills to be learned and practiced daily.
A good marriage doesn’t just happen, one must be created. In marriage, the little things are the big things; like never being too old to hold hands – and remembering to say, “I love you,” at least once a day. It also takes patience, affection… and fighting the urge to make a snarky response when it’s best to keep your mouth zipped.
Marriage is about giving and taking the love from each other.
It’s about building a life, not just for one but for both of you.
It’s about being together no matter what life brings you.
It’s about being driven to the end of your rope and tying a knot to that end and holding on!
It's about sweetness and kindness, wisdom and learning.
It’s about being strong when the other is feeling quite weak.
It’s about saying nothing when you’re dying to scream.
And it’s about admitting when you’re wrong and making things right.
It’s about giving in, but never giving up.
It’s about you two living as one, but never being alone.
Some days will be filled with joy, and some days with sadness. You will laugh and you will cry, but through it all you will see that marriage is the greatest adventure you’ll ever have. For you two today it’s about to begin. This great adventure.
And trust me when I say this..
It’s worth every minute!
Declaration of Intent
With this wisdom – and your love - in mind, I now ask you:
Richie, do you welcome Angelina to be your wife, and your cherished best friend?
• Richie responds in the affirmative.
Angelina do you welcome Richie to be your husband, and your cherished best friend?
• Ang responds in the affirmative.
Exchange of Vows
Before you pledge your vows to one another, let’s pause for a moment and take in the beauty that surrounds us here. Take a look at your guests and feel their love for you – as well as the love you have for each other.
Let us also take a moment to remember those that are no longer with us but are still watching over you two today.
Angelina, I’m sure your parents Dominic and Mary Ellen would be so proud to see you marrying the love of your life and your person Richie.
Please look into each other’s eyes as you share your promises to each other.
• Richie, repeat after me
• I promise to share the covers, and leave the toilet seat down,
• I promise to not throw my dirty socks everywhere or leave the sink full of dirty dishes.
• Most of all, I vow to never stop playing with you,
• And to love you as my best friend, lover, and partner in life.
• Angelina, repeat after me
• I promise to try not to sing Taylor Swift songs at the top of my lungs when my favorite song comes on.
• I promise to cherish you, but not obey - because that’s a little creepy.
• Most of all, I vow to never stop playing with you,
• And to love you as my best friend, lover, and partner in life."
Ring Exchange
Richie,
Please place this ring on Angelina’s finger and repeat after me:
• This ring is a token of my love for you. Let it remind you that you’re in my heart and always will be.
Angelina,
Please place this ring on Richie’s finger and repeat after me:
• This ring is a token of my love for you. Let it remind you that you’re in my heart and always will be.
