Officiated by Sean Patrick Yost at The Boardwalk in Benton Harbor, Michigan on October 13th, 2023. Witnessed by Dustin Rhodes and Lyndsey Olson.
"I was asked over the summer by Trent and Emma if I would officiate their wedding. It was an immediate and emphatic YES. Such an honor and a privilege to be able to do this service for my friends. I asked whatkind of service they wanted and theyd said they were non religious and were wanting to make this a celebration of love, family, friends, and unity. I went online and searched and found AMM. I signed up and became ordained shortly thereafter. Trent and I go back to freshman highschool football. I was one of the new kids, having spent my previous 9 years in private school. I was being myself and hamming it up where and when I could. Trent took a shine to my humor and helped me make some of my first friends in a new highschool, by accepting me, being kind to me, and building a lifelong friendship with me. Trent and Emma reached out to me after theyd already begun planning and said theyd always kept my bame in the ring for their officiant. I was beyond touched and honored and was excited to help these two unify their love forever. To say i was nervous is an understatement, but youd apparently have never known. Per what guests, the couple and everyone I spoke to told me, it was a beautiful ceremony. My only concern was making that day memorable and special for Trent and Emma, they deserved to enjoy their day their way. I wasnt sure if I would want to officiate more weddings after this first one. After how well it all went, i feel i might have a true calling for this. Im excited for whats next and to help the next couple I meet, commit their love together forever. "
