Welcome family and friends. A wedding is such a wonderful occasion, filled with hopes dreams, and excitement. We've gathered here today to celebrate the love between Garland and Cindy, and to wittness the depths of that love as they join together in the commitment of marriage.

In the number of years that Garland and Cindy have known each other, these two have had countless adventures, bought a home together, made joyful memories, and supported and comforted each other through difficult times. They joined as a blended family, lost loved ones, raised fur babies together and became empty nesters as Matt moved on into adulthood.

I personally have known Garland for over 14 years and I remember when Garland told me that had a date with this girl he had been communicating with, and he had to get my opinion on what to wear. Little did I know that my friend, on that date had found the love of his life. Then, I met Cindy, we became friends quickly and I knew that they were perfect for each other. The perfect balance. And with patience, understanding, laughter and honesty, they have grown into the couple you see before you today. Now they are ready to commit the rest of their lives by building lifelong memories.

The foundation of a true marriage, begins long before the wedding day, and the efforts of marriage continue long after the marriage ceremony ends. A brief moment In time and a stroke of a pen is all it takes to form a legal bond of marriage, but as we all know, it takes a lifetime of love, commitment, and compromise to make marriage durable and everlasting.

Garland and Cindy, When you asked me to share this special day with the two of you, my heart was filled with joy. I can't image two people better suited for each other.
