INTRODUCTION
Welcome everyone! Cam and Maddie have brought us together to celebrate their love and union in matrimony. Thank you all for joining us and being a part of their love story.
I am honored to be here today to officiate this wedding for you two.
After years of nurturing a beautiful, strong relationship, it’s great to see these two taking the next step in their lives together as one.
As all of you know I am Cameron’s brother and we have been around one another our entire lives. With that being said, Cameron and I were actually living together in college when Maddie came into his life. I have been around from the start of these two and you could always tell there was something special between them. Throughout the years of being able to experience these two together firsthand, there was always a feeling that this was a forever kind of thing.
When it comes to Cameron and Maddie, you can’t have one without the other. I’ve seen these two be there for each other through life’s unexpected twists and turns, only growing closer and stronger from each setback. I’ve seen them share laughs, share inside jokes, grow together, raise their dog pepper together, and become the two people they are today with one another.
Your marriage will come with the most joyful times and happiest moments you will remember forever. Marriage also isn’t easy and will come with struggles and sacrifices, but I trust these two. I have trust in their love, their friendship, and their commitment to one another. With that, I think it’s time we get into their vows!
DECLARATION OF VOWS AND COMMITMENT
Cam and Maddie, have you come here today of your own free will to declare your commitment to one another?
Cam and Maddie: We have.
Do you promise to be there for each other in the good and the bad? To grow with, understand, and respect one another during your life together?
Cam and Maddie: We do.
THE QUESTION OF INTENT
Have the rings ready
Let these rings represent your eternal love and the promises you have made here today. Let them be a symbol of your unbreakable bond and this new beginning of your life together with no end in sight.
Cam, do you take this woman to be your wife? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?
Cam says: I do
Cam, take Maddie’s ring and place it on her finger and repeat after me.
With this ring, I promise to love and cherish you to the end of my days.
Cam repeats
Maddie, do you take this man to be your husband? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?
Maddie says: I do
Maddie, take Cam’s ring and place it on his finger and repeat after me.
With this ring, I promise to love and cherish you to the end of my days.
Maddie repeats
Your love has now been strengthened by the promises you have made here today and the rings you have exchanged.
