ABOUT THIS WEDDING

"These two amazed me with their love and friendship for each other: I was so thrilled and honored to be a part of this day! Maddy & Bryson met in high school, and are now Mr. & Mrs.! I called this and Upscale and Downhome Wedding because the decor, as you can see by the images I photographed, was both southern charm and profound elegance. The Pines at Moser Farms is a lovely property located on multiple acres, nestled in a small town called Vian, OK, with a pond, dock with gazebo, and a clearing surrounded by pine trees for an alternate wedding ceremony option. The parents, family members, friends and guests were all such fun and wonderful people with which to share this ceremony. As the ceremony began, the groom saw his mother weeping, so he began to tear up as well. The bride was lovely in a traditional off-shoulder gown, and the bridesmaids all wore different styles of various solid fall-like colors. At rehearsal, we discussed options for reading written vows to each other, and when I asked, "Who will go first?" they simply looked at each other, and without a word, threw down a session of "rock-paper-scissors" to decide! So cute! This meant that Madison would read her vows first, and she was shaking and weeping, too. Then it was Bryson's turn, and he said, "You said it was going to be short!" Everyone laughed. His was not long, at all, but simple and sincere. I rarely have the opportunity to stay for the reception, but in this case I could: so I enjoyed a meal, while more photos were taken, then the marriage license was signed outside in a clearing adorned with dark green and cream tufted furniture. Again, so lovely! There are a few ceremonies that really stick with me, and this will be one of the few that I will always recall as an excellent example of pure joy!"
