"I really enjoyed working with Camille and Josh. I met Camille in June through a mutual friend, and we clicked well. Then I met with the couple a few weeks later. Then, two weeks before the ceremony, my whole family came down with Covid. We were sweating it those last few days, but I tested negative the day before the wedding, and I wore a mask for the ceremony. I had a low, throaty voice, but thankfully a mic picked up at least most of what I said. It was a lovely location, and I was proud like a mom of how well they did with their original vows. They were unbelievably gracious about the illness, too. I would have freaked out, but if they did, I didn't see it. Very thankful to have such a good first experience. "

Dearly Beloved,
We are gathered together here today to celebrate the union of Camille Anthony and Joshua Cha in the adventure of a lifetime.
At this time, I'd like for everyone to please silence their devices, so we can all enjoy this amazing moment.
So. The adventure of a lifetime. The truth is, Camille and Josh, you don't really know what you're getting into. No one ever does. That's how adventures work! I believe that marriage is essentially a promise to face the unknown together. And to keep facing that unknown.
But you've already nailed this. Even though you knew each other in school, you didn't really start talking and getting to know each other until the early days of the pandemic. 1700 miles apart! It was the greatest unknown most of us have faced in our lifetimes.
And you've already shown yourselves and the rest of us that you CAN face the unknown together and find something beautiful. You found each other.
Now, we didn't rehearse this part, but I'd like for you to turn around now and look at all the faces of the people who came to support and celebrate you today. These folks aren't here because they have nothing better to do. They're here because they love and support you.
Marriage doesn't happen in a vacuum. We all need our village to support us and celebrate with us throughout our lives. We need our people. Well, just take a look. You've got some great people.
Camille and Josh will now share their vows.
