The Wedding of Hazel Brown & Carson Von Seht

Officiated by DeLisa Lovett at Sparrow's Nest at the Abbey in Sparta, Wisconsin on August 11th, 2023.

ABOUT THIS WEDDING

"It was an honor to officiate Hazel and Carson's wedding. It was my first wedding after being ordained with AMM. The wedding ceremony was very heartwarming and beautiful. The colors blue and lavender worked really well together. The love and support from the family and friends was amazing. Very memorable occasion. "

Hazel Brown And Carson Von Seht’s Wedding Wedding Ceremony Script

Welcome:

I’d like to welcome the family, the friends, and most importantly, the couple Hazel and Carson. Each and everyone of us is honored to be here celebrating this incredibly joyous occasion, witnessing the most important day in their lives together. As Hazel and Carson take their relationship to the next level, this gathering is a testament to love and commitment.

Some might say that Hazel and Carson are already committed to each other, But today, they are proclaiming that commitment not only to us, but to the world as well. They are saying, “we love each other, we support each other, and we want to spend the rest of our lives together.”

Spiritual Words: Corinthians 13: 4-8

Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never ends!

Carson Father's Blessing and Prayer

Words on Marriage:

A lifetime bond. A commitment to each other for eternity. A lifelong embrace. All are wonderful, and applicable, ways to describe marriage. But marriage is also about the little things. The warm smile your partner gives you when you need it most. The hug that calms your nerves. The laughter that lightens the moment. And of course, the kiss that lets you know that you are in this together. Marriage is committing to not only a lifetime together, but to be there for the other persona at any moment. To provide the support that your partner needs. Marriage is a bond created on a single day that is renewed every day thereafter, through thought and action.

Hazel Brown and Carson will now share their vows.

Vows:

Will you take Hazel/Carson to be your wife/husband to love, honor, and cherish him, now and forevermore?

Rings:

Hazel Brown and Carson Von Seht will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment.

The wedding ring seals the vows of marriage and represents a promise of everlasting love. It is a physical manifestation of the promises joining this couple together. The wedding ring is placed on the fourth finger of the left hand because years ago, it was believed that this finger was a direct connection to the heart. The perfect place for a symbol representing love and commitment. These rings are the physical embodiment of the spiritual bond that now binds you two together.

As you Hazel/Carson place this ring on Hazel/Carson finger, please repeat after me. I give you this ring to wear with love and joy. As a ring has no end neither shall my love for you. I choose you to be my /wife/husband this day, now and forevermore.

Hands Blessing Ritual: Hold hands

As you hold hands here today, please enjoy and appreciate the gift that these hands are to you. These are the hands of your best friend. Full of love, you hold your partner’s hands on this wedding day, as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow, and forever. These are the hands the will work alongside yours, as together you build your future. These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, and with the slightest touch, comfort you like no other. These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief fills your heart. These are the hands that will wipe the tears from your eve, whether they be tears of sorrow or tears of joy. These are the hands that will tenderly hold your children and pets. These are the hands that will give you strength when you need it. And lastly, these are the hands that, even when wrinkled and aged, will still be reaching for yours with that same unspoken tenderness.

Closing Remarks:

We are almost there, you have just promised to love, support and remain committed to each other. I want to wish Hazel and Carson a wonderful blessed life together and remind you to never take the other for granted. As you settle into married life together, remember that you are stronger together than as individuals. You will make mistakes. We all do. But the key is to forgive and remember the reasons why you are together. Why you got married and why you love each other. Remember these reasons, communicate with each other, have a good laugh or cry, and as long as you do so together, you will be able to get through anything.

Pronouncement:

By the authority vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the State of Wisconsin. Hazel and Carson, you are now officially, as you already have been in your hearts, husband and wife.

Kiss:

You may now seal your vows, promises, and commitment with your first kiss as husband and wife!

Introduction:

It is my honor to introduce the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Von Seht.
