Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,

Today we are gathered here to witness the recommitment of Hector and Janet’s vows to each other. You have both spent the last 10 years of marriage learning how to love each other. How to have fun together even on hard days, to listen, and to compromise. You’ve taught each other how to change your minds a little more gracefully. You have taught each other to be a better husband and wife. You are each others best friend, lover, and most importantly partners.

Hector and Janet, when you first joined hands and hearts in marriage 10 years ago, you did not know where life would take you. You promised to love, honor, and cherish one another through all things.

Life has surely brought you both wonderful blessings and difficult challenges over the years. But here you are today, having fulfilled the vows and promises you each made on your wedding day.

Since this was a surprise ceremony for mainly Janet, I will give you both the opportunity if you would like to say something from the heart to each other before we exchange the rings.
