Welcome - family, friends, and loved ones. We are gathered here today, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, to celebrate one of life's greatest moments - the joining of two hearts, and to give recognition to the worth and beauty of love.

You have come from near and far to share in this commitment Robert and Jill make to one another and to offer your love and support to their union.

Robert and Jill thank you for your presence here today, to allow them to start their married life surrounded by the people dearest and most important to them. They also remember other loved ones whe cannot be here to share this moment with them.

Marriage is the promise between two people who love each other and who trust in that love. Who honor each other as individuals and who choose to spend the rest of their lives together.

A marriage makes of two fractional lives a whole. It gives two purposeless lives a work, and doubles the strength of each to perform it. It gives two questioning natures a reason for living, and something to live for.

It will give a new gladness to the sunshine, a new fragrance to the flowers, a new beauty to the earth, and a new mystery to life.
