“When I first met Jay I knew he was going to be a great guy to get to know. He could be serious and give great opinions on a wide variety of topics. But he’s not all serious. He listens to reggae and still enjoys getting some adrenaline flowing from things like traveling the world, skiing, jet skiing, and kayaking… Which reminds me of how Adrienne and Jay met. Adrienne being the amazing woman that she is, caught Jay’s eye previously at the gym a few times but when he decided to experiment with online dating to find the perfect woman, that is exactly what he found. After seeing Adrienne on Match.com and knowing she was far more athletic than him he had to impress her by changing his profile pic to him with a medal from a half marathon he previously ran before messaging her. It worked. A kayaking date was on the horizon, the only problem was Jay didn't actually kayak……. $300, one kayak, and 8 years later, here we are.
