INVOCATION

Family and Friends, we have been invited here today to share with Jake and Ashley a very important moment in their lives.

In the time they have been together, through long distance relationship, stop movement orders and deployments their love and understanding of each other has grown and matured, and now they have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife.

READING FROM CORINTHIANS

A reading from the Apostle Paul, The first letter to the Corinthians, Chapter 13, verses 4 through 7: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Let us pray for this man and woman as they make their marriage vows.
