"This wedding was beautiful and heartbreaking all at the same time. While I was a bit nervous before the ceremony, I was at ease during the ceremony. Ibeth and Raul had already been together for 42 years but were never legally married. They share two beautiful daughters and 3 grandchildren. Raul was placed in hospice care and mustered the energy to say is "I do" to his beloved Ibeth. 24 hours later, Raul "Roy" Diaz Jr. passed away. "

"We are gathered here today in the sight of God to unite RAUL and IBETH in the bonds of holy matrimony. This is an important moment in their lives. Let us be grateful that we are here to witness this sacred event.”

"Now, let us Pray,

Heavenly Father, we are here on this day to give thanks for the love you have shared with these two individuals. We ask that you help RAUL and IBETH to always remember when they first met and to remember the strong love that grew between them. Please help them find words both kind and loving, and hearts always ready to ask for forgiveness as well as be able to forgive. Father, we put this marriage in your hands.
