Officiated by Jeannie Lynn Gregory at Alfredo Gonzalez TX State Veterans Home in McAllen, Texas on April 15th, 2023.
"This wedding was beautiful and heartbreaking all at the same time. While I was a bit nervous before the ceremony, I was at ease during the ceremony. Ibeth and Raul had already been together for 42 years but were never legally married. They share two beautiful daughters and 3 grandchildren. Raul was placed in hospice care and mustered the energy to say is "I do" to his beloved Ibeth. 24 hours later, Raul "Roy" Diaz Jr. passed away. "
