"Rena and Zion met as freshmen in high school when they were in band together. I was their band director. They fell in love. After having greaduated several years ago, and Rena having now earned her Bachelors Degree, they decided to get married. Since I was the one who joined them through band, they ask me to be the one to join them in marriage."

What greater thing for two persons than to feel they are joined together; to strengthen each other in labor, to rest on each other in sorrow, to help each other in need, to share joy, and to be with each other – whatever life has to offer. This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.
Rena and Zion, today begins a life of giving and sharing, nurturing and support; allowing each other the freedom to change and grow as individuals, while developing your mutual spirit as time goes by. In the art of marriage, the little things are the big things. It is about establishing a relationship in which your independence is equal, dependence is mutual, and obligation is reciprocal.
Do you, Zion, take Rena to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself to her for as long as you both shall live?
Do you, Rena, take Zion to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself to him for as long as you both shall live?
Rena and Zion will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and fidelity……….
May all that you are, always be in love. May all that is love, always be in you. May your love be as beautiful on each day you share, as it is on this day of celebration; and may each day you share be as precious to you, as the day you first fell in love. May you always see and encourage the best in each other. May the challenges life brings your way make your marriage even stronger, and may you always be each other’s best friend and greatest love.
When Karen and I were married the minister wished us the joy and happiness that he and his wife had shared. I would like to pass along the same wish that you share the joy and happiness that Karen and I shared.
By the power vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the State of Ohio, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now share your first kiss as a married couple!
Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to present for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Rena and Zion Belmont.
