We are gathered together here to join Nicole and Alex in the spiritual union of marriage.

The most remarkable moment in life is when you meet the person who makes you feel complete. The person who makes the world a beautiful and perfect place. The person with whom you share a bond so special that is trandscends normal relationships and becomes something so pure and wonderful, that you can’t imagine spending another day of your life without them. For Nicole, that happened many years ago when she met Alex.

Nicole and I have been friends since high school, and still remain very dear friends. Nicole has been there for me to celebrate the good times, and to support me in the worst times. She is the most noble and loyal person to have in your life. She is truly the noteworthy confidant to have in your corner. Over the years, I’ve gotten to know Alex very well. (Hello, a-lex). In our house, that is literally how we greet Alex and even interrupt him constantly and he seriously just loves it. But in all honesty, Alex is kind, caring, easy-going and dependable. Also, the accent and Thor demeanor make him a diamond in the rough. In all seriousness, I am so honored and humbled that you’ve chosen me to unite both of you today for this beautiful union.

I am certain many in this room share a personal experience with both Alex and Nicole that highlight the quality of their love. Alex and Nicole, you compliment each other perfectly. With the understanding that love, loyalty and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home, let’s do this.
