How's it goin' Honored and Beloved Guests,
Ima make this quick cause I'm moonlighting as the camera guy.
We are gathered here today to join Savannah Umpenhour and Michael Safarty in the union of marriage.
I'll say only this. Marriage is not created by a law or a ceremony; it occurs in the hearts of two human beings. It grows out of loving, caring, and sharing ourselves with another. This ceremony is not the magic, it's a celebration of magic. The magic created by two people in love. Love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.
I want to personally thank everyone who has joined us today to witness this beautiful moment. Both to our physical guests and to those who are here in spirit. I know that they are in this room, watching through teary eyes and are extremely proud.
Without further ado, let’s start making some promises y’all.
Savannah do you take this man, Michael Safarty to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto him for as long as you both shall live?
*(Wait for Confirmation)*
Michael do you take this woman, Savannah Umpenhour to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live?
*(Wait for Confirmation)*
May I have the rings.
*take rings from stacy*
Savannah and Michael Safarty will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment.
*(Ring Exchange)*
Savannah, please give Michael his ring.
Michael, please give Savannah her ring.
Before continuing, I will explain the breaking of the glass. The traditional breaking of the glass marks the end of the ceremony and the beginning of
the celebration.
As the Groom breaks the glass, I invite everyone to shout Mazel Tov! Which means
Congratulations and Good Luck in Hebrew.
So, without further ado;
By the authority vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the State of Florida I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.
*step to the side to stay out of pictures*
Will you two please join me on the steps for the breaking of the glass?
*place the glass*
Ladies and Gentleman, for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Safarty!
*break the glass*
MAZEL TOV!
