We are gathered together here to join Ryan Max Bruggeman and Elena Silva in the spiritual union of marriage.

This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.

Elena and Ryan met in Berkeley at a Super Bowl party, Ryan's favorite event of the year, and connected over their disappointment in the half time show pick, which they completely missed because they talked through the whole thing. They exchanged numbers and 9 years later here we are! During that time they built a life together that they love. They moved into an apartment that they loved, supported each other through educational and professional milestones, and continued to grow together. One of their proudest accomplishments was buying their first home, which lead to them being ready for their pride and joy, Max, their lively sassy Corgi, which most of you all already know about because they both love to talk about him! Through all the trials and tribulations that life has thrown at them Ryan and Elena have worked together as one and have come out on the other side, and enjoyed all the amazing moments and experiences they have shared together and continue to plan.
