Welcome to the friends, family and loved ones gathered here today to witness the joining of Joseph and Rizza Mae in matrimony.

On behalf of the couple, thank you for supporting them today and always.

To Joseph and Rizza Mae:

Before we get started, I want you two to turn around and take a look and see who has come from near and far to celebrate the both of you and your love. Take a second, look around and just really breathe in this moment and know that we all came here for you.

If I had the choice to marry these two and be in front of you all, my ACTUAL choice would probably be sitting FRONT ROW crying like a baby with the rest of you, because these two mean the absolute world to me.

So fun fact, For those who don’t know me, my name is Erica, I am Rizza Mae’s cousin, and I was the one who actually introduced these two SIXTEEN years ago. *YEAH, took Joe long enough*

So when they pulled me aside and asked me to officiate their wedding, you already know I had to come through and make it a full circle moment.

When it comes to to being compatible, most tend to think of the similarities between two people. But part of what makes life so interesting and exciting are the differences. Opposites often attract in exciting and beautiful ways complimenting one another’s lives rather than overshadowing, and the promise to live, love, and be as one does not decrease a persons individuality.

Today, we celebrate the union in marriage of Joseph and Rizza Mae, two people who on the surface may appear different as night and day. Yet they are fully aligned on what truly matters, commitment, respect, trust, and communication. And a love deep enough to share a common path, while also appreciating and flourishing in the differences.

Joseph and Rizza Mae, never underestimate the security that comes with knowing as you continue to be your own person, you will also enjoy the strength of your two hearts having been joined as one . As you take this step, I ask that you continue to grow and build upon the love that brought you here today.

Joseph and Rizza Mae have chosen to exchange rings as an outward symbol of their love and commitment. These rings represent an endless promise, never to be broken, and will serve as a daily reminder of the vows they take today.
