Officiated by Destiny Renae Edge in Columbus, Georgia on January 20th, 2023.
"This was my first wedding I have officiated and it was my best friends wedding. It was an intimate and small ceremony at sunrise. The lovely couple plan for a larger ceremony in 2025 that I will also officiate! Afterwards we took 2 shots together and celebrated this beautiful union."
Destiny has not submitted any photos yet.
Loved ones, we gather today, in the sight of the divine and of you as witnesses to join Destiny and Ethan in marriage. We gather around them now in this wonderful place, and we look on with love and hope as these two begin their new life together as one.
I am so honored to officiate this union as the entangled roots of these two individuals that are about to join together as one united tree, reaching for the stars together, sharing the same nutrients, weathering the same storms, growing together year after year - some rings thick and healthy, some rings thinner.
I met Destiny in November of 2020, at the time she was in a legal binding courtship. Which luckily did not work out. I have watched Destiny lose herself and find herself. Not long after she began to understand her worth, she found Ethan who was meant to hold her, protect her, and help her along her journey of healing.
Any fool can fall in love. Real love is what comes next. After the fall is over. When you’ve landed, it’s time to do the dishes, pay the bills, or in the future pick up the kids from school.
You will need each other to face these challenges. You will need each other as partners. To water eachother and grow together as equals, fiercely honest with one another and fiercely committed to one another. Honesty and commitment are the basis of a real love, and a successful marriage demands a foundation of real love.
Ethan, do you take Destiny to be your lawfully wedded wife? Will you honor and cherish her; love, trust, and commit to her, through joy and pain, sickness and health, and whatever life may throw at you both, until death do you part?
Destiny, do you take Ethan to be your lawfully wedded husband? Will you honor and cherish him; love, trust, and commit to him, through joy and pain, sickness and health, and whatever life may throw at you both, until death do you part?
At this time, Destiny and Ethan will exchange their vows and rings. The wedding ring is a symbol of binding. A symbol of attachment and of belonging, not of possession, but of partnership.

Ethan and Destiny, having proclaimed your love and commitment to one another in the eyes of these loved ones, and with the power vested in me by the American Marriage Ministries and the state of Georgia, I am so happy to pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss!
Thank you all so much for joining us in this special moment in Destinys and Ethans life!
