INVOCATION

Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,

We are gathered here today to celebrate Kandis Woods and Matt Zimmerman, as they make a promise of love and commitment to one another in marriage.

What a blessing to have found each other and create so much happiness together already! Kandis once said to me "I wish I would have met him sooner and we could have our whole lives together." Here's the thing. You do. You have now. You have forever. Truly stay present in this moment, in every moment as it comes. Continue to go out to dinner. To go on adventures. To laugh together. Fight over who is Lucy’s favorite. Be each other's best friend and biggest fan. It's obvious how much you both light up for each other. Carry that same compassion moving forward. I’ve watched your sweet love story unfold, and I’m so honored to bring you two together in marriage.

DECLARATION OF INTENT

Do you Matt take Kandis to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, from this day forward as long as you both shall live? ("I do.")

Do you Kandis take Matt to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, from this day forward as long as you both shall live? ("I do.")

VOWS

Kandis and Matt will now exchange special vows they have written to each other.

RINGS EXCHANGE

Kandis and Matt will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment. (Violet gives Kandis Matt’s ring, Iris gives Matt Kandis’ ring).

(To Matt) Please place this ring on Kandis' finger and repeat after me. I give you this ring… As a symbol of my deep and unconditional love… I promise to devote myself to you… To honor and cherish you… Now and forever.

(To Kandis) Please place this ring on Matt's finger and repeat after me. I give you this ring… As a symbol of my deep and unconditional love… I promise to devote myself to you… To honor and cherish you… Now and forever.

SAND CEREMONY

Today you join your individual lives to make one. These separate bottles of sand symbolize your individual lives, families, and friends; all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be. As you blend them together, the grains of sand can never be separated, and neither will your love. (Kandis and Matt pour the sand into the new bottle).

PRONOUNCEMENT

By the authority vested in me by American Marriage Ministries and the State of Florida I now pronounce you husband and wife! Matt you may now kiss your bride!
