"I was asked on a Saturday to not only officiate the wedding, but to host it here on the farm the following Sunday! So hardly any time to prepare. So much for having time to prepare for my first ordainment. I put together a wooden log arch for the couple, and got prepared for the ceremony. The wedding day ended up being cold and windy, and having an outdoor ceremony, the executive decision was made to make it short and sweet! The bride arrived by horse and carriage! Immediate family and the closest of friends gave a crowd of around 20. The brides father walked her down the isle while the grooms father presented a blessing with guitar. A short and sweet ceremony allowed for the couple and the guests to escape the cold while making the day exactly the way they wanted it. The bride and groom then departed by the same horse and carriage and the deed was done. Everyone was thrilled!"
