Officiated by Cornelius Winfield Taitt at UNKNOWN in Kansas City, Missouri on December 12th, 2022.
"First and foremost I was honored to be asked to be their officiant. This was my very first wedding where I was officiating. I can honestly say that I was not nervous. Had a slight little bump when it came to a part where the groom was supposed to repeat after me, apparently because I didn’t tell him to repeat after me, lol. All in all a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to do it again."

(INVOCATION)
Dearly Beloved family and friends and Honored Guests,
We have been invited here today by Casonya and Ron to share in a very important moment in their lives. In the time they have been together, their love and understanding of each other has grown and matured, and now they have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife, an institution that was ordained by God Himself when He created Adam and Eve.
As such, this union is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that loyalty, understanding, love and most importantly God in the center of the marriage are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.
And speaking of love, 1 Corinthians, chapter 13 says,
“Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited, it is never rude or selfish, it does not take offense and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people's faults, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope. It is always ready to endure whatever comes. True love does not come to an end.”
Proverbs 18:22
“He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord”
Ecclesiastes 4:12 NIV
“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

RINGS EXCHANGE
The wedding ring is a symbol of eternity. It is an outward sign of an inward and spiritual bond which unites two hearts in endless love. And now as a token of your love and of your deep desire to be forever united in heart and soul.
(Officiant then asks for the bride's ring.)
May I please have the bride’s ring
May this ring be blessed so he who gives it and she who wears it may abide in peace, and continue in love until life's end.
(Groom placing ring on bride’s finger.)
Ron, repeat after me as you place the ring in Casonya finger,
“With this ring I thee wed. Wear it as a symbol of our love and commitment.”
