Officiated by Mark Richard Johnson at Ashe county park in Jefferson, North Carolina on October 29th, 2022. Witnessed by Sandra Faircloth and Bobby Joe Lewis.
"Chris and Wendy met here in West Jefferson shortly after he moved here 8 years ago. Their wonderful people, and I can't imagine a couple more suited for each other. We had a great time. But I did have to take off my helmet during the ceremony, as my glasses wouldn't fit inside the helmet, and I needed to be able to read. Anyway a great time was had by all even though it was a little chilly."

Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,
We are gathered together here to join Wendy lewis and Christopher Helton in the spiritual union of marriage.
This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.
These 13 coins traditionally represent the promise of the groom to support his wife, and the wife's dedication to her husband. But today, more than this, it represents that Chris and Wendy are united in Love, and Harmony.
Chris and Wendy, accept these coins that represent that your love and dedication to each other will be the true prosperity of your marriage to each other. Promise that you will love and support each other for eternity. Please repeat after me.
I Chris, promise that I will love and support you forever.
I Wendy, promise that I will love and support you forever.
In exchanging these coins during the coin ceremony, Chris and Wendy are vowing undying devotion and support.
As we witness their acceptance of these coins, we also witness their willingness to be blessed with each other's company, with each other's dedication and to always be there in heart and soul for each other in good times and in bad times.
