Please bow your heads in prayer:

Dear Gracious Heavenly Father-

We give you thanks; for your gift of enduring love and your presence here with us -as we witness the vows of Stormy and Matthew.

We ask you to bless this couple in their union, and throughout their life together as husband and wife. Keep them and guide them from this day forward.

ELOPEMENT OF STORMY PASTINE AND MATTHEW SIGLEY

Stormy and Matthew please step forward and take each other’s hands- so that you may see the gift that they are to you.

These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong, and full of love for you – that are holding yours on your wedding day, as you promise to love each other: today, tomorrow, and forever.

How sweet to celebrate with the two of you, the love you have discovered in one another - and to support your decision to commit yourselves to a lifelong relationship.

Today, you both demonstrate your devotion to one another; by dedicating yourselves to a life together and setting forth to honor the vows that you have created today. Your lives which began on separate paths, will now be joined as one.

I ask you to remember this advice:

Never go to bed angry- Let your love be stronger than your anger.

Learn the wisdom of compromise- for it’s better to bend than break.

Believe the best of your beloved- rather than the worst.

Confide in your partner and ask for help when needed.
