Officiated by Monica Erdmann Monohan at Mystery Ride in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin on July 30th, 2022. Witnessed by Natalie Stimpfl and W. Shane Stimpfl.
"About a year before this wedding, the couple told me they wanted to get married on our 10h annual motorcycle Mystery Ride. And they wanted it to be a surprise! Approximately 35 people are on this ride, and only the couple who organized the ride and my husband and me knew about the wedding. We pulled off the surprise!! This was an amazing experience, and I'm glad I was able to officiate at Matt and April's wedding."

We’re here today to witness and celebrate Matt & April’s commitment to each other. This is a very important moment in their lives and they wanted to celebrate this event with the family and friends who are here today.
They asked me to keep it short and sweet, so we don’t really care if anyone objects.
Matt and April, you fell in loved by chance. Today you’re making the choice to love and honor each other for the rest of your lives. And so I ask you both…and I don’t care how you answer. You can say shit yeah, yes, whatever…
Do you promise to keep each other as your favorite person and very best friend? (couple answers)
Do you promise to laugh with each other and share quiet moments whenever you can? (couple answers)
Do you promise to support each other through life’s tough moments and to celebrate good times together? (couple answers)
Do you promise to grow old together and to find ways to love each other every day? (couple answers)
This is the important question:
Matthew James Chappa, do you take April as your lawfully wedded wife?
April Lee Gilles, do you take Matthew as your lawfully wedded husband?
Now to everyone here…Marriage doesn’t exist in a bubble. It needs the love and support of the community around it to thrive and grow. So, to those gathered here today, the family and friends of Matt and April: Do you willingly give your support to this couple that they may grow their marriage in love and happiness? (attendees answer)
Do you have rings for each other?
Matt, repeat after me –
April, you are the love of my life
With this ring
I’m making it official.
April, repeat after me –
Matt, you are the love of my life
With this ring
I’m making it official.
Matt and April, may your marriage always bring glory to God, joy to one another, and blessings to your family for many generations to come. May love and laughter fill your hearts and your home for all the days of your lives. May you face each challenge hand in hand and side by side, knowing that with God’s grace, you’ll conquer all obstacles together. May the world be forever a better place because the two of you fell in love.
Matt and April, today you have stood before these witnesses and declared your intent to commit your lives to each other in marriage. I hope you will never forget the love and joy you feel today, and that your bond to each other always remains strong.
And so, with the power vested in me by the State of Wisconsin and American Marriages Ministry, I know pronounce you husband and wife. Matthew, you may kiss your wife!
Ladies and gentleman, I am honored to introduce you to Matthew and April Chappa!
